My facility has a dietitian, how can Enteral help me?

Facilities like cancer centers, rehab centers or even surgical offices are vastly understaffed with Registered Dietitians. Even beyond that, the dietitians available may not bring the experience of the Enteral clinical team. Our dietitians have > 15 years of experience working specifically with tube feeding patients. The more we know about surviving treatment and recovery from surgery, we understand the importance of individualized nutritional care. Enteral dietitians will take all the time needed to research your medical history, speak with your medical team, and determine the best medical plan for you. We also can continue to provide follow up care, as frequent as you desire, to make sure our plan is helping you improve.

My doctor writes the orders for my tube feeding, how can Enteral help me?

Doctors are often very grateful for the expertise Registered Dietitians bring when they are caring for a patient on tube feeding. Doctors are seeing a heavy load of patients, and may not have experience working specifically with tube feeding. Your best nutritional outcome will occur from a team approach- with both an experienced dietitian, as well as your physician that knows your medical history. Let us help by working with your doctor to optimize your nutritional plan. Don't forget- it takes a village!
