Amy J Berry created Enteral after years of working with adult tube feeding patients both in the hospital and after discharge. She has worked with surgical GI patients from acute care to outpatient cancer center care, and she wanted to use what she had learned over the last 20 years and offer it to patients everywhere. She has been a certified as a nutrition support clinician (CNSC) for 15 years. She has worked at the Medical University of South Carolina, University of Virginia Health System, and Roper St Francis Cancer Center. She has been a board member of Dietitians in Nutrition Support and won the national DNS Distinguished Practice Award in 2019. Her passion remains with the patient- providing the care required to result in the best chance for nutritional success, ultimately laying the groundwork for health and recovery.

Kristen Quisenberry joins Enteral with 17 years of clinical nutrition experience. She has passion for working with both tube-fed and IV-fed patients. Kristen has spent the majority of her career working with medically complex hospitalized patients at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), specifically those in the intensive care unit. She has also worked with patients receiving tube feeding and IV nutrition at home. She has been certified as a Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) since 2008. Kristen is an avid volunteer for her profession, serving in leadership roles in local, state and national dietetic organizations. She is currently serving as a board member for Dietitians in Nutrition Support (DNS), a group dedicated to advancing the practice of Enteral and Parenteral nutrition. She received the Emerging Dietetics Leader of the Year award from the South Carolina Dietetics Association in 2011 and 2016. Kristen strongly values teaching the next generation of dietitians and physicians about the science and practice of nutrition support, having served as a faculty member for the DNS Advanced Practice Residency Program and leading curriculum for both medical students and resident physicians at MUSC. Above all, Kristen’s greatest devotion remains in helping her patients by promoting healing, longevity and ultimately an improved quality of life through the power of nutrition.
